SenDraw, the basic version, is a software application for creating Reed-Kellogg sentence diagrams. Reed-Kellogg diagrams visually map sentence components. SenDraw was created in 1999 by UCF graduate software engineering students of EEL 5881: Software Engineering I, taught by G. Walton, Ph.D. SenDrawA was later released to solve some printing problems in SenDraw. SenDrawII is the latest version and allows the user to save files as .jpg and .bmp file types. This version was created by UCF graduate software engineering students of EEL 5881: Software Engineering I, this time taught by Damla Turgut, Ph.D.
All SenDraw versions are free software applications.

The options available below the tool selection buttons vary depending on the tool chosen.
The Drawing Tool has two options: Pen and Shapes.

The diagramming window has a drop-down Layer menu with the following options:
Diagramming Window File Layer Drop-Down Menu
Every action you perform in the Diagramming window is a layer. You can use the Layer menu (or the corresponding keyboard shortcuts shown in the menu) to navigate through layers and to make changes to the layers. For example, selecting Delete from this menu or holding the Ctrl key while hitting the Del key (the Ctrl+Del keyboard shortcut) will delete the last action. Delete works like the Undo command in Windows.

Note: If the line isn't straight, you can delete it and try again. Select "Delete" in the Layer drop-down menu in the Diagramming window.
